Alright, first journal post. I may as well tell you guys my goals:

- Gain maybe 20lbs or so. (I don't doubt this'll turn to gain 50lbs later on)
- Dramatically improve my strength in big 3.
- Improve strength in bodyweight exercises. I see too many big guys who can't do 10 pullups. I want to be able to control my bodyweight effortlessly, even when I'm bigger.

Today was mean to be leg and upper body push day. I went to the gym way too late and it was too crowded for me to get a bench, so just legs today.

BB Squats:

Went pretty badly. I shared the squat rack with someone else since it was really crowded today. I could push the weight fine but I think my form suffered a little.

10 reps @ 135lbs
6 reps @ 200lbs
6 reps @ 200lbs
5 reps @ 225lbs
6 reps @ 200lbs

Leg Press:

Did a couple of sets on here to warm down from squats. I'd normally do some single leg squats with DBs but the benches were all taken.

10 reps @ 270 + sled
10 reps @ 270 + sled

Calf raises on Leg Press machine: (Supersetted with Leg Press)
10 reps @ 180 + sled
10 reps @ 180 + sled
10 reps @ 180 + sled

For real, Monday is notoriously bench day, lol - did well to do legs insteadůsolid numbers, off to a fine start.

Yeah I work out at a uni gym so there's a bunch of people there always benching. They normally leave the squat rack and oly lifting area free though, so it's not too bad.

Haven't updated this in a while, since my access to a computer is limited at the moment. I did a pull day and another leg day since my last update. I'm gonna go and do some chest and shoulder work this afternoon. I should probably weigh myself while I'm there too since I want to see how all this eating is going.

Whether you get the chance to post or not, I hope you get the sessions in - that's where it's at, stay on it.

I sure am, and this will be getting updated every time now that I've got my own computer to do it on. I'm tagging this thread, and changing my WBB bookmark to direct me here so there will be regular updates.

Sadly no real change in weight yet. I was 163lbs, which is an increase from the weight in my sig, but my weight changes around like this all the time. No digital camera here at the moment but I'll take some pictures in the next few days.

Squats 5x5
Bench 4x6
Overhead DB Press 3x8
BW Dips 2x10
Calf Raises 4x8

Todays session went really smoothly considering I've had a cold for the last few days. I really can't be bothered adding what weights I'm doing, I might add it in for squats and bench later on. No change in my weight from yesterday.

Good deal dude, can't go wrong if you keep on track.

Deadlifts 1x10, 3x5 1x2

I completely smoked my old max deadlift. Got 270 today for 2 reps and I'm sure I could do more weight than that.

Chinups 3x12

I've gotta start adding some weight to these. Next week I'll do them weighted and drop the reps to 6 or 8.

Shrugs 3x8

Went heavy, although I didn't really need to after the deads. imo my traps are pretty big compared to my delts so I'll try to catch my shoulders up.

DB Bent over rows 3x8

Light weight this time since I've never really done rows all that much. I'll definately up the weight and incorporate them into my routine more in future.

DB Curls 2x8

Just did these for the hell of it. My arms were pretty hammered already.

I'll probably go for a max squat attempt some time soon. I'm hoping I can get it above 300 in a couple of months.

BB Squats:
1x10 @135
2x5 @ 200
1x5 @ 225
1x19 @ 135

Last set absolutely destroyed me.

Hang Cleans:
2x10 @ 115

Kept the weight down and just focused on form.

BB Standing Calf Raises:
4x8 @ 225

My traps were sore from squats so I did them with the bar in a front squat position. I've got some nice big red lines across my arms now >_<

I also did an easy 20 minute run afterwards.

My first 20 rep squat day. I got back from the gym about a half hour ago and I feel really drained.

I got the 20 squats at 155 out alright, so I might have to bump the weight up 10lbs instead of 5 for wednesday. The chins, dips and situps circuit completely decimated me.

Just another 20 rep squat day. I was squatting 170, my weight's the same. I need to eat more.
