Tuna Sandwich (oil)

Anyone know if the oil in a tuna can is healthy for you? I usually eat tuna sandwiches with mayo but i'm trying to cut it out of my diet. I tried the sandwich w/o drenching the oil too much and it was pretty good.

Is it vegetable oil? If so, it's not the healthiest of oils. Why not get tuna in water?
