View Full Version : If you had to eat out for lunch everyday...
Where/what would you eat? It doesn't necessarily have to be the name of a particular restaurant, e.g. it can be as simple as "beef kabob".
Keep in mind, this is if you are eating lunch OUT at work/school, not bringing food from home
(Yes, I know eating out can burn a hole in your pocket  )

I have changed my diet completely for the past month and a half. In that small amount of time I have dropped almost 30 pounds and my bodyfat is less than half of what it was.
Here are 2 of my favourites.
McDonalds, Oven Roasted Turkey on Whole Wheat Bun,(Without the sauce), only 3 grams of fat, and 22 or more grams of protein.
Mr. Sub, Whole Grain Tuna Sub. I have it with extra cheese, (cheese is fine in moderation), onions, green peppers, black AND green olives, green peppers and pepper, 1/4 serving of lettuce. NO MAYO DUDE SORRY!
*DUDE...TRY THIS, you will cry! "Delicious? or however it is spelled? Whole Wheat, Thin Crust Pizza. Add sliced Turkey Pepperoni sticks, Fat Free Feta, ground chicken or Turkey and a light grating of medium chedder cheese. 20 mins in the oven...cool for 20 more. Cut, wrap, carry to work, heat for 1 min in microwave. LORD HAVE MERCY...you will never eat another pizza again!
Good Luck Dude, Food and Diet means EVERYTHING!

Chicken burrito. Beans, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, wheat tortilla. I could eat one for lunch everyday. And I do for the most part

you didnt say fast food, so i would be going for Steak with Potatoe and steamed vegetables, or Chicken breast and wild rice with steamed veggies, and i'd also consider Pizza.

I have found that any sandwhich on whole weat does the trick, and if you ask politley they will usually subsitute the nasty stuff i.e. ranch/mayo/hoseradish garbage (the stuff you should stay away from) with more avacado :burger:

Actually, Panera is the best suggestion I've seen here. Those places are awesome for customizing meals for you.
Even though I get peanut butter and jelly on whole grain every time I go.
Yes, with the chocolate milk and yogurt thingy.

With out a doubt it would be Sashimi. Maybe a little Sushi also but at this point in my taste buds life Sashimi does it for me.
Eat it raw baby.:burger:

Panera rocks. But actually I would choose this local place up the road from where I work. It's a texas bbq joint, and I'd get the lunch special, which is usually a turkey breast sandwich with a side of sweet corn (or green beans) and cottage cheese, with a sweet tea to wash it down for $7 including tax. Mmmmmmmm.
