Found these on sale for $1 at CVS. The peanut butter & chocolate ones are pretty tasty.

Not a ton of protein, but that's a load of fiber for a single bar (24% DV). They also make a Go Lean Crunch cereal that's really good. Just a heads-up for people that like to snack all day at their desks like me.

Yeah, definitely not good to be snacking on those things all day at your desk... or anywhere.

You can keep the GoLean Crunch cereal, though. ;)

Looks pretty bad. I snack on the kashi TLC bars. They are decent. 140 cals, 7g of fat, 19 carbs, 7g protein, with 7g of fiber per bar. Only 4-5 sugar. Much better choice.

Sugar is not ness. bad though. If they eat these centered and around their workouts, the sugars would be used quickly.

It seems to be a good pre-workout meal with a protein shake. Thats when I would eat one. An 45 min's or an hour before a workout or before a cardio session.

What he should be aware of is the amount of soy protein in that product. Not sure of how much is in there but he needs to read the label. Try to stay away from soy as much as possible.
