I always wrapped my knees starting from the bottom with a double loop, working my way up to the top of the knee finishing it by double looping it again. eariler today, their was this big guy (who competed in the past) showed me a "competition fit" knee wrap. he took my wrap and rolled it up so it stretched more. he started at the top with a double loop, crossed over to the bottom of the knee, then worked up to the top and tucked it very tightly. my leg never felt so numb from knee wraps.
just curious to know how u guys/ladies wrap your knees. do you use a different technique for meets/competitions?

Bottom to top, 2 inches above the joint - 2 below.

I do the "competition fit" but I start from the bottom. If it's not tight as hell and doesn't make you want to cry for your mama then you're not going to get much out of them. I'd only use them for competition or max attempts in the gym.
