I would LOVE to see someone else's fitday who is on a bulk of 3600 cals or more.

Everyone whose fitday I look at is not even close to this number. I would like to see how other people in this range split up their macros.

Thanks a lot.

I wasn't able to track all my calories today but as far as food intake goes I had as follows:

8 Cups Milk (65g protein, 37g fat,94g carb)
2 protein Shakes (65g Protein)
Two peanut Butter and Jelly's (27g protein, 29g fat, 83g carb)
Cornflakes 2.5 cups ( 5g protein, 61g carb)
12' inch BMT from subway (I'm guessing 20g Protein, 110g Carb, 32g fat)
Fruit Frozen Slushy (Dont know)

If you want to maximize fat gain than this method is correct.
There are plenty of open threads in the journal section that will show you examples on how to clean or dirty bulk.

I haven't tracked much recently. My diet normally doesn't vary very much.

Edit:

I entered a typical diet in for today. It's not what I actually ate. Today I was a meal short, so I was probably around 3600 cals.

Typical day
Meal 1: 2 scoops whey, 1 cup dry oats, 2 cups milk, 1 tbsp olive oil
Meal 2: 2 scoops whey, 100g maltodextrine, 1 tbsp oo
Meal 3: 6 oz beef (prefer 90%), 2 cups rice, 2 slices cheese
Meal 4: 2 scoops whey, 100g malto
Meal 5: same as 4
Meal 6: 6 oz chix (or steak or beef), veggies
Meal 7: 2 scoops whey, 1 cup milk, 1 tbsp oo, 1 tbsp peanut butter

My protein is high, more than I need, but given my busy work day protein shakes are just easier.

any reason why you chose 90g?why do you think what he is eating is too much?

It's all in the peanut butter. I should get a better brand. But, for me, a lot of fat isn't as bad as it would be for others. I'm a skinny 150, and 150g-200g isn't that detrimental to me.

Well fat doesnt make you fat, eating above maintence cals makes you fat. Whether that comes from protein, carbs, fat, it doesnt matter.

It just seems like he has a large % of his cals in fat.

half of my lbm is 80. I figrued that was what I should be taking in for fat.

What do you think?

Thats just a minimum. There is no harm in taking more than that. There are people on this board who do low-carb bulks, where they keep carbs under 100g/day and the rest of cals from protein and fat (majority fat).

It just really depends on your body and how you react, but there is really no maximum when it comes to dietary fats.
