Might I suggest Zatarain's New Orleans Style Dirty Rice mix. Easy to make, just add ground beef or a meat of your choce. Low fat and high in carbs and protein from the meat. I think the rice is brown but I'm not sure. Very tasty and it makes quite a bit, enough for 2-4 days. Put some of this with maybe cottage cheese, a fruit such as an orange, a green veggie, and some milk and you've got a pretty good pre-workout meal. Also, you'd be supporting a company in New Orleans and that city needs all the help they can get.
