Bo/8.8- Haha thank ya. It didn't hurt all that much.

UnHoly- Thanks man.

Stumpy- Appreciate it.

Lev- It "officially" is more than I can back squat, but I feel like I'm good for at least 315 if not 325. It doesn't really hurt me.

Gf- Thank ya.

Nate- Haha nothing really special about that zercher.

Detard- Yea had to get my mind right. Was waiting for a certain portion in a song that really gets me focused.

Nice. I like how you managed it with no walkout too. That was pretty sick.

Sweet lift-really shows a lot of upper body strength in addition to the legs.

ever experienced any forarm blood vessel problems? It seems with that much weight there under that much stress right on one of your major arteries that vessels could actually pop or something, i get that from chins sometimes, i would think zerchers would be worse, but iv never done them!

Chubrock

Never had any blood vessels burst. I've had some decent bruising in the forearms, but never busted vessels.

+10 for not using any kind of padding
+10 for using great shoes
-5 for not going deeper (I'm overzealous with complete rom)

Great lift!

Haha I agree about the depth. I normally go deeper. I bailed out when it started to roll forward in my arms. I've dropped 275 on my knees before and didn't want to do the same with 315.

Nice!
I agree with Chris, how the hell did ya do that with no walkout?

and you don't have to be so perfect chalking up;)

I've got skills, my friend, mad skills haha. Nah, I set up close enough that with a slight lean I could get the weight off the rack. From there it was just a matter of sitting back hard before leaning over. As for the chalk, I gotta look my best man haha.

1 of two thing would have happened to me if I tried that.

A- fall back on my ass when I unracked it.

B- slam right into the hooks on the way up as my back rounds like I was doing a friggin Yoga stretch, lol.

Good lift!

Now, a new challenge. Do the full Zercher by deadlifting the bar from the floor and then starting the squat from the bottom of the movement (you deadlift it to roughly your knees, then transfer the weight to the top of your thighs and then get your arms under it and squat).

That sounds insane chris...but I'll try it on my DE day cuz I have zerchers.

Nice lift, keep working hard.

little girly man needed chalk on his arms during the lift. Cuts and blood is good!

Nice lifting dude.

CR- You'd hit the rep easier than you think.

Chris Mason- Appreciate it. I might have to give it a try sometime. Definitely going to have to start with a much lighter weight.

Warrior- Give em a try man.

Cp- Haha girly...yea you're right. What was I thinking?

I have done 290 off the floor on a full zercher...but I zerchered it straight off the floor. I did not transfer it. It's hard as all-hell and I did it after a practice full meet, lol. Those are nasty.:help:

Nice lift.

I prefer zercher's to back squat's. When I do them people in my gym look at me strange, most people have never seen them. But ever since I started doing them, they seem to just keep going up and up.

I did 235x8 last week, I wonder if I could hit 315? Maybe...

Sensei- Haha thanks man. I felt like my chest hair grew an extra inch after completing it.

Built- Glad you enjoyed it.
