I have been bulking for a few months and have gone from 185 to 210lbs, and I now want to start cutting. I have a rough idea on how much I need to cut, but I am more worried about losing the progress I have gained (example: bench repps 4x6 205lb-235lb). I am consuming roughly 3000 calories a day. Is there a theory to lift in a certain manner to help facilitate lifting during a cutting period? Because I have to tried to cut before and I felt weak (and my workouts suffered), and this causes me to abandon ship and bulk again.
