I am 20 years old. 6ft tall and weight 175 pounds.

Did WB1 routine at the gym.

cals:1330
fat:38
carbs:77

Breakfeast: 3/4 cup of oats with 1/2 cup of milk, and sci-pro whey protein mixed with a glass of milk(100 cals, 20g protein for the powder)

Lunch: Salad with cesaer dressing

Dinner: 5 boneless grilled chicken strips, about 1 cup of broccoli, 1 cup of peas.

I know I need to add in probaly 2 more small meals but im not sure what would be good to add?

Im tracking everything on fitday and my goal weight is 160. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You're 6 feet tall and 175 pounds and you're eating 1330 calories? Why on earth are you doing this?

I'm not an expert, but I believe your calorie count is way way way too low. You're putting your body into starvation mode so that it cannibalizes your muscle. You should still be able to lose body fat on a 2400 calorie diet. I believe that if you keep up your 1300 calorie diet, you'll lose muscle as well.

2 more small meals would be a great addition. Your food choices are great. Just have some healthy carbs like rice with more solid protein from meat, or a second protein shake for each of those 2 meals. Also try to space them out so that you eat every 3 hours.

Good luck.

Thanks for the quick and informitive replies guys:bow: I will add some more food to my diet like suggested. I think adding the 2 extra meals is the key like mentioned. Thanks a lot.

1-1.5g of protien for every lb of LBM (lean body mass), make sure you are getting that and then fill in the holes from there. But trust me, if you are 14% body fat (just a guess) thats rougly 150g of protien a day, and getting that via food, it will be over 2000 calories.

get rid of the cesear. Try mixed green with oil/vinegar. Adding salmon and sliced almonds is a good way to get more healthy fats.

I agree that looks like way too few calories. Where does your workout fit into that day?
