Chili can be quite clean if you do it right. Some lean beef, some tomatoes, and some kidney beans. Not quite sure what else is in this chili that you speak of, but the above is how I've always made chili.

Any canned or premade chili is going to be junk. Make your own.

I just made chili last night. Itís as easy as boiling water to make.

Sweat out some onions, brown and drain some chop meat, add everything (chili powder, whatever spices you like, red and pink beans un drained, cans of whole chopped tomatoes) to pot and bring to a boil. DONE! It will be even better the next day after all the flavors have married with each other. Make enough to freeze some in serving size containers. Now you can have your home made ass kicking chili any day of the week.

Don't forget to write the recipe so you can re create your dish the same each time. And donít be afraid to experiment with flavors. Nutmeg, cinnamon, Ketchup, BBQ sauce, or anything else you like can be added.

Happy cooking

Tim Horton's is pretty loaded with trans fats as well. I think it's a better alternative than other fast foods, but don't kid yourself.
