i am on a bulk. i would really like to keep it clean tho and not add to much fat. i plan on cutting as soon as i hit 220

at 18% bf, you might be better off cutting. Getting lean as possible and then going on a bulk.

Unless you are powerlifting?

no im not a powerlifter. i know i really should be cutting, but im just not ready to cut yet. about 9 months ago i was closer to 25% BF and i did cut for a while and got down to about 16% at the lowest. so im just kinda burnt out with cutting, i just want to get stronger first before i start cutting again. the next cut i plan on going down to 10% BF. but first i wanna hit 220, or meet my goals for lifting. i wont be going over 220 tho, thats just getting to fat for me.

That is a good meal, but it is really the day/week/month that matters. One good or bad meal won't make or break anything.

i think it was a pretty successful day - now you just gotta work on keeping it like that every day

well i wouldnt use the scale as a judge but the mirror and measurements. i might be in the minority, but i think you should eat maintence cals for a while and still focus on increasing lifts every week. Then when you are recharged mentally and physically dive back into the cutting.

well today was another successful day. ate the same thing but a little bit more. tomorrow i start my new job which is digging ditches and setting up sprinkler systems, so im gonna be at a high activity level anyways just with my job, so i really dont think the high calories are going to affect me as much as they would normally. plus i am still gonna be working out 3 times a week. and i am going to try and do tabata thrusters once a week, stick with the wbb1 routine (except i go t,th,sat) and do the tabata thrusters on mondays. im sure i will see good results with that.
