Hey

Due to uni work im gunna be off lifting for a week or so, i know i will probably loose some muscle but that aint the end of the workld, i can jus gain that back.

Question is, should i carry on eating how i have been (bulking) or just eat maintinance, mainly protein fewer carbs?

I think if i carry on eating like i do wen i lift im bowt jus get fat.

i would eat at maintenance if you arent going to be in the gym. and you wont lose any noticeable muscle from taking a week off. about the 2 week mark you might start noticing muscle loss.

One other thing do you reckon its worth still taking protein shakes while im not lifting?

Will you be meeting your minimum protein requirements without them?

you could still do some body weight exercises to keep yourself somewhat sharp.

If you can reach 1g/lbm of protein without the shake, then there is no need to take it while on break.

on off days, I generally lower carbs and increase fats.
