i just read the column on the main page about eggs and there fat content etc
my question is, how many eggs is it safe to eat per day/week

i plan on joining a gym tomorrow, its something that ive wanted to do forages but have never had the time/money to do, put im doing it tomorrow for definate and.....i like eggs, especially poached eggs.

i havnt really got my diet sorted yet, i eat heathily bt as to the amount of carbs and protein im eating, i havnt sorted that out yet but im sure iwill do, but how many eggs should you eat a day, one or two? or should you limit yourself to 4-5 a week

any help would be appreciated

Cut the yoke out and eggs are excellent. However, while cutting the yoke out, it doesn't leave much egg :)

Egg beaters is the best way to go. Downside is that it is fairly expensive.

The amount you eat would be dependant on your total fat intake each day and where it primarily comes from.
Eating several eggs a day isn't going to be bad for you but it may increase your risk if the rest of your choices are all coming from saturated fats.
