Rhodes is attempting 1,000 at his next meet. That's what he said in his journal.
Why does it matter? On this site the people range from age 14-50, and from newbs to professionals.

I think Chris Mason is pretty up there, too. If Rhodehouse can do close to 1,000 that probably the highest, though. Keep in mind that's in a squat suit. Even so, I'm sure his raw squat would have to be in the 700 range.

I squat about 7-8" above parallel. That's at a BW of 164lbs.

Well, thanks, but no, not close. I squat totally raw and my numbers are significantly below 1000 lbs (read WAY BELOW).

Wait...I think I misunderstood that. Does he start 7-8 inches above parallel/atf then go para/atf?

My best in competition is 880. My best in the gym is 915. Raw squatting is too hard and I really don't care what I can do. I think the most I've ever tried is 595. I'm a gear whore. I'll put anything on to lift more weight.

smokinHawk
04-23-2007, 06:58 AM
880 is still awsome, what weight class you in?

oh and im around 161-175 and usaully squat 2-5" maybe it depends on my weight.

I'll show you. I'm going to squat in space (although that's just to help things out as I'm scared of heights)
