Damn! That has way too many carbs in it for a post-workout. I"d get it only if you're gonna eat one half a scoop each time you take it. That would be best IMO. ;)

Am i right in seeing that one serving equates to 485g of carbs and 2140 calories?!

It is seven scoops though, I doubt I would take 7 scoops although I may try it once and see if I turn into the hulk or a blob. I'll probably run to the toilet or something, we'll see what happens. Anyone else try weight gain stuff?
I used to, until i figured out they're mostly malto and protein powder mixed together, so I just bought them seperately.
Cheaper, plus i can control how much macronutrients i want in each shake too
:D

its total crap man. your body can't consume that many calories, carbs and protein all at once or your gonna get really fat and have the ****s. what a piece of **** product.
want to put on weight using a protein\mass builder? try some met-rxx in 2 percent milk with 2 bananas in it. drink it 3 times a day along with ur 7 meals a day.

Anyways, tony touch hit upon a good point. Your body wouldnt be able to digest and assimilate so many calories at one time. At best, you'd just be taking up permanent residency at the loo.
At worst, you'd be going thru so much digestional hell you won't be able to eat your other meals in the day.
And if you wanna cut down your serving size, then why bother buying the 2500? ;)

I would definetly cut down the serving size, the thing only cost me 28 bucks with shipping. Thought the 9 plus pounds was worth it, need to add some size. If you bulk with protein alone and have like 500 grams a day you can get a disease called gout where your joints freeze up.

let me equate what drinking a full serving of that crap is like eating. its like having a 5 chicken breasts, 3 large milkshakes, handfuls of sugar, and a plate of white pasta (maybe two im just estimating here) do you honestly think that u are going to be putting on solid muscle with this type of a shake? that food thing i gave you above is actually probably more beneficial for you!

I don't think i would bother giving a second look at any product that has the words "weight" and "gainer" in the product name anymore.

Well, so I probably made a mistake getting the gainer fuel, but I want to experiment with carbs and see if adding some gets me any results. I think my caloric intake on any given day is pretty low. I would not take more than 2 scoops of this stuff on any given day though so don't worry about the extra 30 pound tire on me.

Allnatural, ....i don't think you actually made a mistake in buying it...but as long as you use it where it fits, and in the right ammounts, you should be ok. Good luck though.

bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!u got decent development man, don't ruin it with crap supplements. i used to be so psyched to put on as much weight as i possibly could and be a monster. now i slowed down, and am putting on quality weight. i don't even weigh myself anymore cause now i look in the mirror for both size and conditioning. u can't flex fat and a 160 lbs. ripped muscular guy is gonna look a helluva lot better than a 220 lbs dude whose muscle is marbled with fat and looks too thick. look at shawn ray..the guy is dwarfed by guys like marcus ruhl and nasser but his conditioning and shape is awesome. if u really want to look like a thick, heavily muscled but fat dude then do what u gotta do but you'll look like a bodybuilder if you train and eat like a bodybuilder should.
im not saying stay at 160 lbs or whatever you are because smaller is better. mi all for getting bigger but dont sacrfice conditioning and shape just so u can see the scale go up.

I got it finally, the stuff tastes pretty decent and it makes me feel good after my workouts. I only take 1 scoop, 700 calories though and I think the carb rush is what I am lacking after a workout. I mixed it with flax and amino fuel also. Flax tastes awful by the way, it makes me want to puke.

why the hell are u including fat in ur postworkout drink? flax is a great supplement but i would never used it in my postworkout shake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ur postworkout recovery shake should be all carbs (mostly high glycemic) and fast absorbing protein (whey)

What effect on muscle gain does a lot of extra carbs have?
as far as i know
1. insulin, which is an anabolic hormone, goes up. it shuttles nutrients into your cells
2. loads of carbs = lots of calories, which puts your body into an anabolic environment to utilize amino acids to build

Yeah if used incorrectly, but I only take one scoop of it and only post workout when I have a huge carb deficit (700 calories). And if I ate tree bark and got huge then I'm listening to my body because I know its improving from ittuttut
