I usually make about 12 breasts in the oven on sunday night for the week. Usually freeze 1/2 and keep the other 1/2 in the fridge for 4 days. How long is chicken good for in a ziploc bag? I've been only going to 4 days, cause I read it's only good for 3-4 days in the fridge, but I see people who keep it for a whole week?

Also when I want to use the frozen chicken breasts, whats the best way to microwave/thaw it? It seems to take a while to completely thaw in the fridge.

One more thing...usually I weight out my chicken before I eat it, on my scale...How would I weight the frozen ones? Being frozen would inflate the weight right?

It's a conspiracy that the cows started... They want you to throw it out early and (EAT (http://www.shopchickfila.com/index.cfm?act=catalog.cfm&catalogid=60)) BUY MOR CHIKIN!

I'll eat it no matter how many days as long as it's not slimy or smelly. Hell, I eat 7 day old grilled/boiled chicken after it's been in my room temp. gym bag for 5 hours at work... but I have an iron stomach. Once you get used to salmonella it's good for you. :-)
