Hey, I'm Dave. I'm a senior in high school, attending UConn '11. I was referred here by BFP or V.D. (I don't know what he goes by on here.)
I lifted religiously my freshman and sophomore years, but took a long, long break. In this time, I lost 30 lbs of fat in a month (not something I recommend, but it did work amazingly.)
I cannot call myself a true powerlifter because I killed myself to get a six-pack after being chubby from age 7-16 and outright refuse to get that way again.
Now, I'm back, and somehow as strong as ever. I do most of my lifting at home, with either my father or no spotter. Here are a few recent workouts:
4/15 Bench and Arms
Bench
3x175x12
Pushdowns
3x40x10 (friction or something is making this difficult)
EZ-Bar Curl
3x50x15
4/17 Deadlift
DL (mostly SL)
205x6, 3x300x6 (all the weight at my house)
Good Mornings
3x95x10
Cardio
4/19 ME Bench
Bench
2x220x3, 225x3, 250xM
Incline
3x150x6
EZ Bar Curls
60x6, 3x85x6
4/22 DE Bench
Bench
185x10, 195x10, 205x3 with long pauses at the bottom and top
BW: 150.5
4/25 I want to bench 250 day
Did a pushup competition in school with my buddy a couple hous before . 42 in 30 seconds, I was proud. This is on about two hours of sleep, but a good day of eating at least.
Bench
135x6
185x3
205x2
250x1 PR
260x1 PR
270xM. My shoulder popped out of the socket. And I dumped the weight onto my sternum. It popped right back in, so I don't know if I dislocated it or it was a weird movement, but I felt a pop and a lot of pain.
