Im pleased with my back progress and my chest seems to be doing well too (although im still not happy with it it at all)

Age 18 (19 in a few weeks!)
Activity level before gym- ZERO
Lifting experience: 7 months
Big three:Squat- From 45 (bar) to 200 ATF
Bench- from 95 185
Deadlift- From bar to 260x5 with relative ease, I think I can pull 300


One thing youll notice is I have a wide back. It makes me look alot bigger than I actually am. I weigh about 187 on my cheap scale and 192 on my more expensive one. I was at 145 at around 15% bf and now I think im about 17-18% bf perhaps a bit more (all in the span of 7 months). Im going to try the PSMF diet and see how it works. I think I finally have enough muscle to justify a cut! I also have realized my arms carry quite a bit of fat in comparison with my body...

Things I need to work on (of course everything, but in specific).
1) Bigger chest
2) More muscle in my triceps (linked to chest)
3) Lose fat
4) Get laid :bash:

What is your opinion on my progress?

hard to comment on progress when you dont show some pictures to compare to. you have any we can see from when you first started?

Definitely can see a difference in the back BF, you do have a pretty wide back...bastard :-p After the cut you'll look pretty beastly.

Since you have good news i'll share mine with you..got a new guitar..yay :) lol

I have nothing to offer with regard to your "getting laid" issue. I'm a chick. This problem is beyond foreign to me.

With regard to your body - you appear to have an excellent base for bb - back is nice and broad, big meaty quads - good thickness everywhere but your waist, and you don't carry much fat in your middle. Chest has a good shape to build on, delts, bis have good shape and thickness. You're aware of your lagging parts and you're committed to working on them.

Keep up the good work. You're definitely on a good path. :)

Built- Thanks! If you approve I must be doing something right :D. In one year im looking for a completely different look. I can only eat and lift!

looking VERY solid don't worry about BF keep packing on muscle...about getting laid, you'll find that it's more about personality and game than hours in the gym trying to look better...good luck keep lifting hard man

dude, i can definitely tell you have been hitting the deadlifts-----good work. keep workin on that chest bro! definitely bigger than last time tho for sure.

The chest will look better as you cut. At least I sure hope so, because our chests/bf% are very similar right now!

Dang, Guitar, we have almost identical lifts and a pretty similar build, too. Listen, I know you're worried that your arm looks "fatty" as you alluded to, but it just looks solid to me. I'd say the bulk has done you quite well. There are a few lagging parts like Built mentioned, sure, but overall you're looking MUCH stronger than before. Do you also look about twice as good in a t-shirt? That new straining around the delts/bis is such a good feeling.

Fleep- Id rather look ripped with the amount of muscle I have now than keep bulking with the fat percent I have. I would like to get to around 10-12% before I bulk again, except tis time much more slowly.

Dabaugh- Yeh ive had few randoms in the gym comment on the fact that I look alot wider now than I did. Thanks to deadlifts :D

kyolked- They better! This summer im going to be a lifegaurd... everyone in the camp is gonna see me half naked and if I can pull off a six pack by then 9ive got 2 months) ill be happy.

Rock Steady- Thats exactly what im counting on. When I drop my bodyfat my stomach, hips, arms, and any other part of my body with shrink in size and tighten up making my chest look better.

McIrish- I love wearing T-shirts :D. Last time I checked my arms were 14.7" around that is when I lifted my arms and just stuck it out. Flexed it would probably be over 15". I know its nothing, but its a huge gained from before.

Looking great BF. Don't worry about your arms, they look just fine. Your chest will also come out a lot once you cut. Mine looked like **** when I finished my bulk.

Hope you get laid soon :D

Don't underestimate yourself. If you decided to cut down to the single digits you would be shocked at how good you look. Keep it up, you are definitely on the right track.

Work on the first 3 and you'll get 4 as a bonus. on a serious note tho, pretty good progress. I agree with the above post. Don't worry about how you look now. fat can be decieving. I think its a good idea to cut to actually see what you've gained not to mention summer is coming. work on getting bigger in fall.
