I encountered the dragon door article (http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/229) so I've been working on the two movements. So far I can do tuck planches for 8-10 second holds for several sets and "advanced" front lever lever tucks for about the same amount of time. Progress has been slow, and I train each movement about 3 or 4 times a week, never to failure, and I spread the sets out throughout the day.

Once I can do the full movement, what kind of carry over and I expect to other movements (The Big 3, pull-ups, sports, etc)? I'm training the two for their own sake, not to add 10 lbs to my bench or anything, just interested in what I can expect.

Also, for anyone that does train these, how do you train them and what have you learned along the road?

Once I can hit planche pushups I'm going to be STOKED! Personally I think that would be cooler then a 400 lb bench at my bodyweight.
