Open to any suggestions. The thing is, i have almost no fat on my arms and legs its all in the middle, my legs actually are quite cut, as i have been playing soccer for many years, then after high school, i walked about 5 miles a day. My middle is so stubborn. Any ideas for a better diet and new exercises?

Heres what I do now. I pretty much work out at home because I feel like a fatass in the gym.

-Wake up_ 2 Eggs

-20 Minutes of Cardio, Quick stretch,
45 minutes of weight training

- Lunch Soy milk and oatmeal

- Piece of fruit

- Quick Stretch, 45 minuted of weight training,
general exercise (push ups, crunches, etc)

- Dinner Meat, veg. I try to stay away from starches.

Sometimes I have a protein shake but im afraid that they may just make the fat worse than helping me burn it and gain muscle.
Please help, im desperate. The fat just sits there, it doesnt move! and when i say fat i mean fat im 5'8" about 190lbs

I'm kind of in the same boat after my last bulk, except I'm 5'10" and 209. On Monday I'm starting the Velocity diet, it's hardcore, but it's a really quick way to drop the fat.

I have to say though, if that's all you're eating it looks like way too little.

You need to start tracking your calories: www.fitday.com

Your cals seem to be verrrrrrrry low, like extremely low. You need to aim for at least 1g/lbm of protein and 0.5g/lbm of fats.

You need more veggies in your meal plan. You need more protein in your meal plan. You need A LOT more fats in your meal plan.

You are training twice a day?On that caloric intake?

your caloric intake could actually be so low that its causing your body to go into starvation mode and retaining everything instead of burning it. there is actually a point where cals can go too low to burn fat.

do what Mr. D said and get back to us.

Please expand, given that soy milk is typically low in isoflavone content, it's not a big part of his diet, and there is evidence both for and against the consumption of soy.

Looks like your at or under 1000 calories per day, and thats too low.... you should try doubling it and go from there. Many members of this and other fourms told me I needed to be at around 3000-3500 calories for my size and estimated LBM but for me that calorie range would cause me to maintain or gain very slightly.

Try carb cycling also.. if you can its a very effective way of cutting without starving all the time and without being in ketosis.

To the OP - I have some diet info in the link in my sig. Read it.

Also, no cardio before you lift, okay? After is fine, but not before.

Forget Built's "Ab shot" - THAT should be her avatar!

Oh, and member "Jamie h" - there's a grammar nazi simply named BG5150 who haunts forums around here. Pray that he doesn't find this thread!
