8 week progress. To tell you the truth, these kind of make me wonder if I'm just wasting time. Bigger triceps, biceps and manboobs aren't so big when flexed. Other than that i don't see much in these pictures. Even though I feel loads better, it makes me realize just how stupid I am when I think I look good now.

what does your diet and training split look like?

Mondays and thursday upper body, tuesdays and fridays legs abs and lower back.. I try to do cardio for 30 mins at least once a week after a leg workout.
I'm slowly refining my workouts to something that doesn't overwork each muscle, because I noticed I was grossly overtraining my chest and shoulders for the first few weeks. I don't track my diet, but its pretty clean with ~150 protein a day, not much fat, no junk food. Traded my mt. dew addiction for milk.
I can say for certain, that as depressing the pictures are, there is a noticable difference in person. My x-large shirts are starting to fit again(they had been WAY to baggy over the shoulders), I am starting to get a booty, I have biceps...

8 weeks isn't much time at all. Stick with it, just takes time.

your getting there man. It took me a good 6 months to get pretty noticable differences, like Al said 8 weeks aint nothin man. Hit the weights hard, keep track of your diet, give it 100% and results will show, good luck man.

Amen, 8 weeks is a great start, but now's where the men get separated from the boys. Keep at it another 8 weeks, then another 8 weeks, then another 8 weeks... you'll start to see great gradual changes along the way, but this is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep up hte hard work!

Oh trust me, I have no intentions on stopping. I still have a goal: Be unembarrassed to go shirtless (on an army base)by july 4th, and surprise my mom after she hasn't seen me in a year and a half.
