I have seen it in movies so I am not sure if its good for you or true.

I forgot which movie but the guy was putting raw eggs in a cup and just drinking it... is this good for you?

no. cook the eggs, don't drink them. raw eggs actually aren't as good of a source of protein as cooked eggs and you have a chance (however minute) of getting salmonella with raw eggs.

It's harder to digest and is incredibly disgusting when it's raw. Just cook your eggs. Don't imitate what you see in the movies.

Ive heard on more than one occasion that eating raw eggs strips biotin from muscles.

You increase the bioavailability of the protein when you cook it too.

I have also heard that they have a better Bioavailabilty when they're raw. Sorry to bring back an old thread, but does anybody have any good sources for info on this?

Can you provide something that gives you the odds of that happening?

Though it's a biased source http://www.enc-online.org/f_a_q.htm says that 1 in 20000 eggs has salmonella.
