how does my form look? i have been deadlifting now, for seven weeks and i'm up to 330lbs. any advice is appreciated...thanks bigsmiley
bench: 305lbs x1
deadlift: 330lbs x2
squat: 245lbs x1
total = 880lbs
these numbers will go up soon, i have been doing chest and cardio since jan 06' and just started deadlifting mar 07' and just started squats in apr 07'.
my numbers have been moving up very quickly except for bench and any advice to increase my bench is also appreciated....thanks again

Could be the angle of the video but it appears as though you have an uneven grip on the bar.

Your right hand looks a little too wide, other than that, form looks good.
Pet peeve of mine, use the 45lb plates, dont have 37408327487 10s and 5s :bang:
Keep lifting heavy bro...go get a fitday.com account and keep a journal. good luck.

Use whichever plates you'd like.

Yeah the angle of the shot was bad but my grip was good. Next time I will get a better angle.

Good work, but I feel like you're jerking the bar just a bit too much. I'd hate to see you get injured.

I agree with Tofer. Get tight and then lift, don't jerk the wt to get it moving.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Yeah I work out by myself so I dont realy have anybody to critique my form. So I will do less jerking to get the weight up. And go from their.

i think the hand looks a bit worse b/c of the camera angle... however it is a bit wide and i can tell because when your lowering the weight the right side comes down first...

Yeah you guys are right about the grip. It looks worse because of the angle but still my right hand is too far out their. I just started using the mixed grip and whenever I flip my hand to do the mixed grip I was putting my pinkey finger where my 1st finger should be. Thanks for pointing that out too me.

I'm no expert, but my first impression is that the hips came up very fast. Maybe it's because of the wide stance. Some people say it is a good sign if the bar is scraping against your shins.
