mayb 2-3 large ones a week, think it hurts the diet alot? or does it just keep u at a slower rate of fat loss when cutting

If your goal truly is 8% then I'd say that's too many. True cheat meals are brutally hard to calculate... you might think you're eating 1200 calories but it's really closer to 2000 or so. Moving from 12 to 8 takes more accuracy than that.

I eat two or three cheat meals a week and, despite 1600 days more often than not, the scale hasn't moved in either direction for a year. (159-163 ... easily accounted for by water weight from day to day)

2-3 cheat meals will not be good, but 2-3 refeeds will be just fine.

my diet is planned along the lines of that thread though. I am losing wieght and am gaining muscle. The muscle was at a steady point,but I will be gaining soon cause I'm going to make more jumps. Anyway,back to my point, I feel that something along that plan will work if you wanna lose fat and gain muscle.

today

morning smoothie with whey and egg powder
fiber and whole milk yogurt
almond butter on rice cake

snack orange


lunch turkey sandwhich on brown rice bread
raw veggies

snack raw nuts


dinner something healthy

Cheat meals are only as bad as you allow them to be. In your case, 2-3 large ones is too much especially with your goal for summer being 8% body fat. Try to spread your healthy meals throughout the day and you will find that your cravings will decrease. Your not hungry if your full.

You speak the truth. It always will cave in except when you have no money. Then you go to a friends house, share, and eat like never before. :)

Cheat - all out binge on ANYTHING you want(pizza,ice cream,etc.)

Refeed - purposefully overeating healthy stuff

If its a binge its a cheat day not a cheat meal lol. In my case anyways.
