Yeah, this is just another BS journal article published by some academic research group who thinks they will get more grants by releasing controverial finding.
It will be refuted in a few years, the same way caffeine=heart disease was refuted.

EDIT: According to the article vitamin D "makes it worse". Oddly enough a massive study is just finishing that shows a deficiency in vitamin D is strongly correlated with increased cancer rates.

I'm not disputing the vitamin D study, but I take the cancer studies with a grain of salt anymore. It seems like everything "may lead to an increase of cancer rates" anymore.

I agree in most situations, but this study seems to account for a lot more than previous studies. I'll try to find a link if I can.

Brain damage I'm not sure about. Maybe from an imbalance of nutrients if you get too much calicum in comparision to other nutrients and naturally the body and brain rejects too much of anything. Calcium deposits?
