Hey everyone, So I'm going to start weight lifting soon and I heard protein helps grow muscle. So I was wondering how much protein should i get per day? I'm 6'1, 145 lbs , 15 yrs old

Also what foods (list please) have good amounts of protein, thankyou!

More than protein you need CALS.

6'1 and 145 is RAIL THIN!

How many calories are you eating a day currently? Whatever it is, increase it by 25%.

Make sure you eat at least 1g/lbm of protein and 0.5g/LBM of fat.
LBM = bodyweight - bodyfat

Once you hit your minimums for protein and fat, fill in the rest with carbs,protein, fats as you like.

The most important thing for you to do is EAT and LIFT.

Just EAT and EAT and youll be good.

Yeah, but I'm only 15, thats why i dont way like 170

No, you're not eating enough. That's why you don't weigh like 170. Food is yummy. Eat up. :thumbup:
