Hey guys,

Here is a video i took for my senior project in my computer technology class, its one part of a long video of form and me lifting. In this im just teaching or attempting to teach different overhead lifts, im pretty bad at explaining although i could of got more into detail, however i dont want to bore the hell out of my classmates and make them confused.

Its just military press, push press, BTN push press, jerk, power snatch, hang snatch, 1 arm snatch, and 1 arm press, all with a barbell.

The presses are 155 lbs and snatches 90 lbs.

Hope you enjoy.

Nice vid, but that guy in the background is really loud and annoying.

The one-arm presses were awesome, btw.

Coach Stoehr will own your soul, but yeah he is, my bad lol.

all he does is praise this kid anthony ferra that graduated and went to play ball for URI, he was in the 900 lb club at school, i said coach you need to make a 1000 lb club so i can be in it, haha.

Really difficult to hear what you're saying, but here's what I noticed ...

1) no mention of active shoulders
2) your push press should not have any forward inclination. When you demo without weight, your inclination is huge. Looks much better when you demo with weight.
3) you should also talk about foot placement and hand placement.

Hard to critique the snatch in youtube because I can't go frame by frame, but I'm not exactly the best guy to ask about that stuff anyway. :p

Good stuff tho!

Hey stumpster.. great vid...
Skipping any comments about technique.. if these are beginners you are teaching, I'm not sure the one-handed presses would be a good idea at the start. Might be a bit dangerous until they actually did build up some strength, workload and technique..

And yeah.. that background voice is blocking a lot of what you are saying..

BTW.. I'm going to loose respect for you if you say things about the Giants like that!!! Bako can love his broncos.. but I've been a fan of the Giants before you were both born... lol. I'm old.
