So I have a problem with protein shakes. Mainly, they upset my stomach and give me the s****. But it's strange, and almost conditional. I've been taking papaya extract to help digest them, and it seems to help IF I don't do anything after I have my shake. If I just sit and watch tv or something, everything's fine. But I had one today and then went to work where I'm moving constantly (waiter) and my stomach felt awful; cramping and gurgling. Would being active lessen my body's ability to absorb the shake? I would've thought the opposite that being active meant my body would want to absorb faster.
