Homemade Creatine?

I found this article awhile ago

I did a search through the forums, and only found one thread upon the subject. I wanted if this is a good method to go. I was going to purchase creatine monohydrate from GNC, but apparently a lot of people on the forums suggest not to since it's "overpriced."

Fill me in with your thoughts, comments, etc.

And many people on here make their own "creatine mix". Creatine + Dextrose.

The Kool-Aid packets are for flavor...although I don't think I'd want to use that. And yes...this will all be a lot cheaper than some of those pre-made formulas.

that would work...in fact, most people here take creatine + dextrose for carbs to improve absorption. you could add kool aid in if you wanted, but i think its a lot easier to just throw 5 g of creatine mono and some dextrose in with your protein shake. whatever floats your boat.
