If i want to start the 5x5 program where should i fit in push ups into the workout
and how many should I do?

also

what do you think about this modified 5x5 program
the only thing i'm changing about the program is the assistance so thats all i will post up.

mon:
Assistance: Good Mornings 2x8, Dips 3x8, Pullups 3x8

Wed:
Assistance: Power Shrugs 5x5

Fri
Assistance: 4x10 bb curls, 4x10 bb tri ext, 3x10 overhead tri ext

What's the point of the pushups? Do you need them for anything specific?

It's hard to tell anything regards to the 5x5 if you don't actually give us all the info. If we don't know what you're doing, how can we help? Sure, those 5 sets of 5 of good mornings before your assistance good mornings are a good idea.

You can say, I don't want to change the main exercises and we can look at it from there. But otherise, how can we give you any kind of input but blind information?

my goal is just to get stronger for football and I just enjoy doing pushups so i was just wondering sets/reps i should do?

but my main question is about the assistance work I changed for the program

ive already finished the regular 5x5 program so i just wanted to continue on it with my own modifications

previous to the 5x5 program i did the Mark Rippetoe program and decied to move to 5x5 from there
