I'm trying to lose about 20 lbs for my cut, without being skitzed out all the time. I know the best way is to do it naturally, but I've tried before, and my metabolism is horribly slow. I need a bit of extra help... what are your recommendations? Ephedrine?

if you can afford it

go with Thermocin or Nitor

Which one? ;) or both? Do either of them contain ephedrine?

read the ingredients in Nitor.Members seem to really like the effects of Nitor. It's quite potent though.

Does anyone here use either of these products? Do they actually work well as appetite supressants?

Thanks for the info Getfit.

I've used both

not sure about the appetite supressing part...I never feel like I'm starving and I've gone as low as 1700 calories (right now I'm back up to eating 2000)

I'm finishing up my Thermocin and then going back to Nitor...I was able to feel the effects more on Nitor and I REALLY like Nitor

but from what I've heard and seen both are effective

How is your diet? Are you tracking on www.fitday.com or some other method?

Thermogenics are good for the final push to get you over that hump. If you dont have the rest (diet, training), you will be disappointed with the results, and wondering where your money went.

I guess it depends on what you're using a thermogenic for

yes your diet should be in check, but I wouldn't even say that you have to be tracking it for it to be effective (I'd be more concerned with the quality of food being consumed). Obviously it helps and is more beneficial on a cut to know exactly how much you're eating, but there are some that can get away with not tracking.

I personallly don't use thermogenics for fat loss...Yes, that may be a benefit, but I primarily use them for the mild appetite suppresant effect and energy boost. I'd get those 2 benefits regardless of my diet...so I guess again it really depends on the goals and what the OP wants out of the fat burner.

I don't get good appetite supression with Nitor. Enough caffeine to keep you awake for a day and a half though lol

Well, the main thing I'm looking for is appetite suppression... so I guess I should look into hoodia or ephedra? Nitor does sound great for what it does though. I may have to check it out.

I have my training down and my diet is kinda up and down. My appetite is more cals than my body can burn off. I'm at 5'11'' 210 and want to get to 185-190.

And thanks for all the advice guys.

Maybe look into taking some green tea extract to see if that would help by itself..that is a natural appetite suppresant.

You do know that Nitor has a full dose of green tea extract? It also has a full dose of glucomannan to help promote satiety not to mention a ****load of stimulants which will help to curb your appetite.

I've taken it...it didn't do **** for me

I later read that t-rex is only effective when doing cardio and I don't usually cardio off fat, I diet it off

I still say Nitor is your best bet

Well, I got some hoodia 500mg with green tea extract and it seems to be working as an appetite supressant. Got a buy one get one free deal at vitamin world, so I am pleased with my purchase. Pretty cheap too, compared to other supplements. 23 bucks.
