im kinda new to this supplement thing but ive been training for about almost a year now. Im only 16 and am interested into buying Optimum ZMA but idk if it is safe for me to take a natural hormone at my age. I want to boost my gains and strengh. Should i try out this product and is it safe to take. Will it show up on a drug test as a steriod? Sorry i dont know that much about it but there isnt that much information about it that i can find. Thanks

ZMA only contains zinc, magnesium, and B6. None of those ingredients are even remotely considered a steroid.

Magnesium acts as a muscle relaxant and will help you sleep. Athletes and people that train hard tend to be deficient in zinc so if that's the case with you, it could help. Zinc is also present in semen so the more loads you're busting, the more zinc you'll require. It's also just generally tied to sexual performance so that's why some companies claim it is a prohormone

I've taken ZMA before and I like it for some of the above mentioned reasons. It's also not very expensive which is nice (I buy it from the NOW brand)
