Heavybomber, makes me feel weak, lol.
but im pretty happy with last nights squat and deadlift workout.
been stuck on a whimpy 335x1 ATF squat and a 405 deadlift
was feeling real good and experimented with going a tad narrower on my squats since i have been widening it out and got 340x1, then a 350x1, so finally a double body weight on all three lifts
was still pumped so i desided to do some singles for my deads working up to a high max
so i did
315x2
365x1
385x1
405x1
415x1
the 405 and 415 came up pretty slow and took some effort but i was determined, felt good getting to the top so i held it there for a bit to work on my grip to.
i think i am on good track to hit my 405, 405 and 500 goal by the end of the year. only 165lbs to go

Good job. It's gonna take some time to hit 500 on DL. It took me about me a year after I first hit 405. I'd say your goals of 405 and 405 are pretty realistic, though. I can't imagine a 405 bench at your weight. You'll have to post a vid when you finally do it!

thanks guys
i feel like i got more in me on the deadlift, it just makes it harder doing your squat workout first, then deadlifts, but does a good job at working the back.
im sure it will be no picnic getting to 500 on the DL but i think its very possible.
my back is my week point of my squat so when that improves so does my squat.
ive done 405 on the bench already with bad form (butt up), im just working on getting it up there touch and go with strict form.i figure im about 2-3 months out from finally getting it, then id like to cut my weight back to 165 maintaining the 405 bench, i got a lil bit of fat to lose.

Awesome lift. You'll get 500, I'm sure of it. I appreciate the mention but my bench sucks compared to your's.

its still higher then mine so how does it suck?
nobody in my gym can to a 425-435 paused rep (they are all a bunch of curljocky pansies)

I'm talking pound for pound. I weigh a lot more than you. Relatively speaking yours is better.

weight on the bar is weight on the bar.
thanks for the comps but you still have a decent bench, all the guys in the 300lb range (and muscular build to) at my gym still havent broke 400 yet.

Nice work especially after squatting.

Awesome work!
thanks guys
