How do you think my lats have developed? Bigger? Same size? Not much Change? Thoughts appreciated.

I know the 370 DL WOULD NOT greenlight in a PL meet, but does it look OK for gym purposes and PR's? Thanks!

Thanks Tom, I know that 370 was rather shaky :) What do you think about the 360? Is it solid?

Haha sorry mate didn't even look at that one on my first read of the post. Yeah 360 looks MUCH better. I'm no form freak so unfortunately I can't say if that's A+ for certain, but it looks solid to me ;-).

Oh and your progress is sick. (looks wise). Keep it up =D

The 360 dead looked like you are moving your arms a bit. I believe the sayin goes, that you are should act ac hooks, nothing else.

The 370 might be a bit dangerous, looks like arms moving, and you hitch the weight which makes the lift not really count.

Its hard to tell also, but is your back arched?

Pics are looking good.
You look like you're starting your pull in both vids with a rounded lower back. The hitching with 370 is also a big no no.
I know it sucks to hear this, but i think you should drop the weight and re-evaluate your form.

Alright, thanks all. I know the hitching was a bad idea, and I just did it because I wasn't thinking when doing the lift. I'll move my PR down to 360 instead since it was cleaner.

I think I'm arching my back a little bit, aren't you supposed to?

And what do you mean "moving my arms"? Like are my arms sposed to be locked when I do deads er somethin?

You are supposed to arch, which keeps your Lumbar spine in a neutral position as opposed to rounding, which puts uneven stress on the intervertebral disc's.
To me, from this angle it looked like you were rounding, which can result in injury.

There appeared to be some elbow flexion going on, which, with loads as great as those used in deadlifts, can be bad news for the biceps.

So that means I was flexing my biceps, so my arms were kind of angled? I thought straight arms werent good for DL. I never feel any pain in my bi's the wait I do it, should I change it still?

And about my back, I think it was either about perfectly flat or arched a little bit. I try to arch it as much as possible. I will work on these two things.

I also have large erectors thanks to genetics, so sometimes even if my back is arched it looks flat/rounded. But I think my back was about perfectly flat or a bit arched in the 360. The 370 is sloppy all around, I know.

Yes. With bent arms your putting your self at greater risk of a biceps tear/strain.
Even if your havent had any trouble yet its a bad habit to get into. Its also less efficient.

Yeah you might be right. The camera angle isnt the best for determining this.
It does look a little round to me though. Just looking out for you. Injuries suck....

Yes I understand. Thanks alot stack, if I notice my back rounding then I will lower the weight and work on it.

Do you think the 360 would have passed in a PL meet, or was the form too sloppy?
