Some training from today. Warning, theres some nasty language...hahahhah.
I attempted a 240 axle, but I could not clean it. My continental technique needs some work, and I have no fat to rest the bar on. I believe I could do a 260 split jerk from the rack with an olympic bar (maybe an axle).
Troy attempted a 275 axle, and almost cleaned it, but not quite. This was his THIRD time pressing with leg drive and first time with an axle, this dude is going to have a 300 overhead within months.
Then later I did a 510 yoke which I forgot to include in the video. I took it about 20 feet, then I dropped it, and then took it another 25 feet or so.
Troy started out sort of struggling with the 510 yoke, but then after a few runs he was doing 510 for 100 feet just stopping one time at the end of the course. Then he attempted 600 and was moving it easily, his technique was just a bit off. Then he attempted a 700 yoke and took it 50 feet with some drops. Keep in mind this was his FIRST time touching a yoke of any kind.
Then after that we did some farmers hold w/ 225 per hand, and I managed 35 seconds. I actually faded to black when I lifted it because I lost my air, but it actually helped me because I couldn't feel the pain in my arms for quite a while. Pretty cool.
