View Full Version : Post Workout Shake... down it fast, or drink it slowly?

Probably a stupid question, but it just popped into my head.

My PWO shake is whey/dextrose mixed in water. After my workout, I typically down the whole thing in about 2 minutes, maybe less.

The question is, am I drinking it too fast? Is there any reason to drink it slower? Or does it not matter at all?

Well, it certainly could matter. (for those who say just drink it, too)


But since you seem to have no problems with digestion, whatever way you are drinking it now is fine.

the whey protein i have right now from weilder is nasty gross... tastes like chalk and nothing i add to it helps so i down it fast and quick. 2 big glasses in like 10 secs
