I felt like recording a video, so I did these! Only 10 though. Something to watch though. How much does this affect shoulder strength? :whip:

Sorry for the quality, YouTube watered it down. :alcoholic

HSPU are great, but you gotta touch your head or nose to the ground every rep and lock out your arms at the top. If you want to get more depth, make a set of parallettes.

With my long wingspan, the best I can do at the moment is stick a few textbooks under my head. I'll try to remove them one by one until I can do full HSPU's. I think that, like pullups, tall guys are at a disadvantage with this exercise (because of arm length and body weight).

It's hard to tell with the shading. I tried to get my head to touch the floor, but it's kinda scary. :x I'll be sure to take Anthony's advice and lockout and touch each time in the future.

back in my gymnastic days i would do them with out propping myself against a wall, and balance myself out in the open, balance was the hardest part

good job those are fun but the only way i can do them which is cheating is do a handstand and have someone catch my feet so i dont break my head, then they hold me upright by my feet and i do them lol.
