I have been so slack on my diet, not tracking, not measuring, just kind of eating, and it's completely destroyed my outlook on weight loss. I know the sig says not focused on losing weight, but I'm over the max for my height for the Marine Corps. I need to lose at least one pound.
This is the diet I came up with. Thoughts?
Breakfast:
.5 c oats
1 T PB
.5 apple
dash cinnamon
Lunch:
3 oz tuna
.5 c cottage cheese
a few grapes thrown in
Dinner:
3 oz chicken breast
.5 c brown rice
1 c steamed fresh veggies
I have two single shakes with skim milk, vanilla whey, 1 c strawberries and a half a banana planned for mid morning and mid afternoon "snack". The afternoon snack gets 3 oz of tuna and a squirt of mustard also.
Then after dinner I have a scoop of whey in water.
Fitday comes out to:
Total Cals: 1591
Fat: 24g, 218 cal, 14%
Carbs: 141g, 505 cal, 33%
Protein: 204g, 816 cal, 53%
I'm not really worried about the timing of carb intake or anything like that.
Please keep in mind that I am a girl, and I do need the carbs for energy since I'm working up to three-mile-a-day runs.
Thank you!
Kimberly
