View Full Version : What is more important? Calories or protein?

I don't want to get really fat during my bulk cycle but I want to still get bigger.
Could I just eat like 2500ish calories/day and get my 200ish g of protein and be fine?
I'm 5'9" 175lbs.

Find your maintenance using www.fitday.com for a week, bump that number by 10-20%, eat 175+ g of protein a day and you will be fine.

After you hit your required protein and fat, its all about getting the calories.

Make sure you get enough protein and fat and fill in the rest of your calories with whatever you want. You won't gain weight if you aren't eating enough calories though ;)
