hey guys, so ive been readin around on this site tryin to gets all the tips i need to gain some weight. i recently got a gym membership and ive been goin twice a week just focussing on upper body workout, i dont care much about my legs right now they get their workout through biking/running.

anyways, im 6'4 and 150lbs. quite the skinny kid. ive been goin to the gym now doing the WBB1 routine with no real noticeable weight gains.. however i have noticed strength gains on all my exercises so i must be doing something right. im just wondering, since i cant afford all those supplements and i spend a lot of my day at work where i hardly get a chance to eat, just wondering if i will still gain weight if im not getting quite enough calories.. i think i get between 2500-3000 a day..

is it not true that if i have strength gains there will be some weight gain eventually?

is it not true that if i have strength gains there will be some weight gain eventually? No, it's not true. There are some skinny guys that just train for strength. You can be very strong and not be HUGE.

You're 6'4". You need to be eating a lot more if you want to gain weight. Muscles don't come from nowhere. Eat up.

and you really should be squatting and deadlifting.

Running/biking is no substitute for a legs workout.

Check out fitday.com and start tracking your calories. You need to eat to grow.

Idk, depends what kind of running. With good nutrition ive always gained alot of muscle in sports like track when I wasnt squatting or deadlifting at all. 3 months in track not squatting once and my max didnt change.

ooooh, yay! Perfect thread to post my video in :D.

If you are having trouble getting enough calories in, you're not trying hard enough.

If you are taking in 3000 cals a day and you are only 150 lbs, you need 20 cals per lb of body weight just to maintain. Try eating more like 4000 and see what happens in 2 weeks to a month.

What I recommend is to order these 10 pound containers of weight gainer.

http://www.allstarhealth.com/f/ultimate_nutrition-muscle_juice_weight_gainer.htm

I couldn't gain any weight if it wasn't for this stuff, its cheapest weight gainer on the market also. Mix with ice cream.
