I figured since this is a new chapter in my life I should start a new journal. The title of the journal is latin for "It is hard not to write satire", I think somehow, it is prb appropriate. So from now on all of my entries will be made in this journal. All of the exciting, and mostly mundane moments of my life. Both inside and outside of the gym. Hopefully those who read it will gain some inspiration, and maybe a laugh or two. So here we go! Im still on my way to being a humanimal!

I ran 3 miles tonight, I think its the first time Ive ever ran 3 miles straight without stopping. Im not a fan of running, without a purpose. By that I mean im fine with running for football, basketball, baseball, or any other sport. I find it difficult to just run around in circles. I suppose I get bored with it after awhile. But tonight I did it. Running with a friend did help though, and thinking about the hot Cuban girl I saw the other night also got me through it.

Anyhow, I feel pretty good about it right now. But Im dog tired, and after reading a little Ill be in bed. Passed out!

July 22, 2007 Chest Day

Weight: 167 lbs

Back to the weights today, but its been over a week since Ive had a day off from the gym. I went all last week, and started off this week with the chest. Ill get my days off this weekend when I head up to Canada. For some drinking :D and gambling. More drinking than gambling though. I dont have much good luck, and Id like to keep some of my money.

Anyhow, I made some good progress this week. I moved my weights up on all of the exercises, and my bench is coming along. I dont think Ill be back to my old numbers, but Id like to see 200. I think thats an attainable goal.

1. Bench: 155x8, 165x6, 175x4

2. HS Press: 65x8, 75x6, 85x5

3. Incline Bench: 115x7, 125x6, 135x3

4. Cable Press: 22x10, 27x10, 32x6

5. Pushdown: 50x15, 57x10, 65x6

There wasnt much of the hot to speak of today, which was a bit odd. Ive seen atleast some hot everyday Ive been there. I mean there were some that werent too bad, but none that Id take note of. So Ill tell you about the hottest girl I think Ive ever met in my life.

1. Hot Cuban- If you could put everything I want physically in a woman, and wrap it up in a hot Cuban package this chick was it. Jet black hair, perfect face, banging tight body, and the latina ass. Aye bendito! I have a new goal in life, and that is to find a girl of this caliber, and marry her. If nothing else it gives me some added motivation to hit the gym hard everyday. I mean this chick was AMAZING! La cuerpa rica!! Cubanita!

July 24, 2007 Back Day

Weight: 167 lbs

Back day today, and I have a feeling this will become my strongest day shortly. Its def the one that I have the most confidence. Todays been a pretty good day, and throwing a solid workout on top of that made it feel complete. I still have a few more things to do today. Reading, guitar, watch some baseball, and maybe some PS2 if I get around to that. There also might be some good things coming my way at work. So, Im hoping for the best.

No ill effects from the long weekend in Canada. Got back into the gym and pushed some good numbers today. Weight went up about half a pound since last week. So Ill take that as muscle...I hope :D

3. Cable Press: 27x10, 32x8, 37x4...these hurt my shoulder

Nothing much hot to speak of at the gym last night, but Im starting to notice some gains in the way I look. Especially in the back, the lats are a little small for my liking, but the traps are coming along nicely. Im slowly starting to feel a bit more solid. I agree. It looks like that old German method of torture/execution popular in the 16th-18th century where they roll over your body with an iron wheel, breaking all your bones in the process. Then they thread your now tentacle-like limbs through the spokes of the wheel and leave you out in the sun to die. I thought it might be weird to make that my first post in someone else's journal, so I made it my second post instead.

BTW, nice numbers you are putting up. I'm originally from the Cleveland area myself. What is a low row?

Low row, I just took that off the name on the machine. Basically a seated row I think, just using that v-shaped bar thing to row some weight. Thanks for stopping by, keep comin back

Its too damn hot! Sometimes I wonder what I dislike more, the extreme hot or extreme cold. Both extremes make me feel like crap...I always wish for the winter when its like this, and vice versa. But hey, Im free, Im educated, I have all my limbs, and a steady job. I cant complain that much.

Did the vanity work in th gym today. Arms/traps, I tossed in some abs to keep myself honest. Ill hit those harder on the weekend when I lay off the weights and do some running. I hate running just to run, but I know itll be to my benefit, so Ill suck it up and run like a man.

1. Leg Press: 210x8, 225x8, 235x8

2. Squats: 135x8, 155x8, 175x8

1. DB Curl: 25x8, 30x8, 35x7

2. Single Pushdown: 20x10, 20x10, 25x6

3. EZ Bar Curl: 75x8, 80x6, 85x6...moved up nicely on these from last week

***Weekend Gym Fun***

Weight: 166 lbs

Well when I weighed myself today it was in the morning, and I only had a can of tuna and some PB. So this is closer to my true weight than the 168 Ive seen this week. Its good though, Im feeling solid and Im def starting to see some improvement in my body. I was doing some forearm work today and I was actually surprised by what I saw in the mirror. It was pretty cool, and gave me some added incentive to run.

Ive ran the past two days, 2 miles both days. Today I did the 2 miles in a row, without slowing down after about a mile. I was encouraged by that, at first I was going to slow it down after a mile, but I said what the hell, do another .25 and it just kept going from there.

Also, did some dips/pulls. Those seem to be my weekend thing, so Im lay off the weights after Thursday. Dips are coming along much better than when I first did them two weeks ago. Pulls are also improving.

Its too damn hot here in Ohio, so I think Ill go wander around Borders for a minute and then maybe to the park to play my guitar. Chicks dig a stacked up guitar pickin' man :rolleyes: :D

Its still freakin hot here, I cant stand it, but Ill live with it. I def couldnt live somewhere when its hot like this all year around. I mean, you'd prb get used to it after awhile. But you'd also miss the great seasons like autumn and spring. Hell, I even like the early part of winter! Cant stand it from Jan 1 - March 17, atleast St Patricks Day gives some hope of springs arrival.

Been pushing/pulling some pretty good weight lately. I might even see 200 creep into my bench! I didnt think Id ever see that again, but Im determined to get back. I think 225 would be a good goal to shoot for on teh bench. Back remains strong, I really felt it in the lats today so that was cool. I usually dont. I cant remember any extreme hotness at the gym lately, there was a couple of decent MILFs in there today. Id give'em a poke :D

The Browns first pre-season game is on Saturday! :clap: Cant wait for football season to begin! Brady Quinn signed today (FINALLY)...so if the Tribe can pull one out tonight it wont be a bad day at all...

Also ran 1.75 miles today after lifting and abs...

I broke my clavicle for the second time in Nov 2005, I dont think it ever really healed 100%, and to this day my left side is weaker than the right side.

I don't know what a clavicle is, but I doubt that injury will keep you from pressing 200+ pounds. If you did 190 for 4 under your own power then certainly you can press 200 for at least 2. I'm basing this off of my own experience - generally I lose a rep for every 10 pound increase.

August 8, 2007 Mid Week

Weight: 167 lbs

Im def feeling stronger each week. I feel like Im beginning to get some of my former size/strength back. I remember feeling very solid and tight. Im not all the way there yet, but I hope to get there. :strong:

Today I did my a fair amount of ab work, and ran 2.5 miles. Ive been concentrating on eating right, running, and doing more ab work than I have during my other BB adventures. I think Im starting to see some results in the midsection.

1. Tall Hot Chick- Im kind of a short guy. Im prb 5'8" on a good day, so a fair amount of girls are right there with me in height. This chick was def as tall or maybe a bit taller than me. Short pink shorts, and great legs. Her face was a bit off though

2. Hot Yellow Shorts Chick- This chick had one of those behinds that makes a man sweat. Not too big, not too small, just perfect now. It may get too big in about 5 yrs if she doesnt keep up on teh fitness. But as of today on teh treadmill she looked freakin great. Short yellow shorts, nice legs. Mmmm.

August 13, 2007 Chest Day

Weight: 167 lbs

Today was actually a very nice day here in Ohio. Almost no humidity, in the mid 80s, sunshine, I couldnt ask for much more. Back into the gym today after a bad diet weekend. I def didnt eat enough good food, and ate a bit too much junk. If anything I didnt eat enough. I was back in Youngstown, so being away from the apartment I didnt cook like I usually do. I didnt drink very much so that was a plus.

Bought some soy burgers today to be a part of my pre workout, post lunch meal. Ive been eating various forms of pork until my roomie found these. 13g protein/0.5g fat looks pretty good to me. Ill eat two of those without bread, a banana, carrots, and maybe another fruit before I hit the gym from now on. Im still looking for something to eat during the day though before lunch. Ive been waking up eating eggs before work, then a protein bar/fruit before lunch, but I still need something else to eat before lunch. I get so hungry at work! I bought some cans of chicken, but they are so expensive.

Any suggestions?

I pushed my self a bit today for teh chest day. I think going heavy on the bench took away from some of my other exercises today. But Im fairly happy with what went down at teh gym. Ill prb go back to the same weights next week and do these a bit more precise.

My friend from work says he had a MILF set up for me on Friday night, but I was out of town. It figures. He txts me around 9 asking where I was at...nowhere near Canton! A MILF is still one of the few things I must conquer before marriage...that sounds horrible, I guess, but it must be done.
