So I decided to purchase a new single ply shirt. Currently I use a Inzer Rage x. The problem lately is that my training partner moved for business reasons and I was left to attempt to put the shirt on myself and train solo with the occassional spot from a gym rat. It just wasnt working for me, let alone trying to put on a rage x solo was dam near impossible. Ive been keeping a close eye on the new APT Apex shirt that was just recently released and have been reading nothing but good reviews on it. But the biggest draw to it was the simplicity of being able to put it on with no help. Thats exactly what I need. So after plenty of research, I went ahead and ordered a single ply size 48. Well it arrived only in a few days and I was like a kid on Christmas morning. So with this, Im going to delay the 5/3/1 at least a week to put the shirt to a test. My original goals still stand as I want to get all my raw numbers up, but being a bench only competitor, Its worth putting off a week. So come Monday, ill post a full review of the APT Apex.

I really like the new APT Apex shirt. It has a lot of pop in the midrange zone also. Its very accomidating in that you can get it on by yourself without much trouble. In that, its a little concerning that it would be too loose, but as soon as you get under load, you can really feel the sleeves hooking up. Hopefully ill have it broken in in a few sessions. I just it gets approved by the USAPL soon. Would really love to use it in Comp.
Has the service for the Pitt officers already past?
No not yet. I think they are having it Thurs if im not mistaken.

GOD DAMN! Here we go again with the lower back. I aggrivated my lower back on the last Tbar set. I accidentally lifted my chest off the pad, putting pressure on the lower back. Done for tody.
I can barely move today. I really did it good this time. Took off work and going to ice/rest it. Obviously no training
Grrrrrr pain is still the same. Took off work again and went to the Chiropractor. He took some xrays to see whats up and found that I have no movement in my lower 3 vertebrae. wtf. Getting old blows. Well, no weights for a few days.
Feeling a lot better, but still sore. Going to go to the gym tommorrow and see how I feel.
