Definitely seem on track for pr's on all lifts and total at 198! Can't go wrong with that.

Supposed to be a total deload this week, but due to the screwed up training cycle, I decided to pull heavy today since I havent got that much in lately.

Benched again tonight trying to get work in the shirt. Was a rough night and felt totally off. 600 took forever to touch and was a slow press. So added more weight to get it down quicker, and both attempts had to be bailed on at the chest. After reviewing the vid of tonights presses and the 635 press from Thursday, plus the pressure/pain that caused me to bail, I found that Im trying to touch too low. My hands are forward of my elbows at chest level, almost to the dumping point. Its putting way too much stress on my forearms. So, im giving it another go Thursday to try a correct the problem.

Lately Ive been doing all my lower accessory work beltless and its been paying off. I haven't done much conv in a while with a fragile lower back, but its been feeling great lately and ill be doing a lot more conv work after the meet. 2 1/2 weeks out and BW is around 214.
Good to get this bench sorted out before hitting the platform. You will dial it in.

Not a great night. Speed wasnt really there. Teammates are convinced im just fried from alot of bolume the last few weeks. 605 was going to be the opener, but just going to open with 6 plates and go from there.
CNS is fried up from stuffing a ton of training in the last couples weeks. First take on squat was just a mess. Took it again and no problems. Sumo was stupid easy. Week ans half out. BW is 214.
BW is at 213 from 216 yesterday. 5 more lbs by Thursday morning will set it up an easy water cut. Overall feel pretty good.
BW this morning is 210, right on track. In other news, I picked up a sponsor this week. Primal Nutrition, The#1 Sorts Nutrition Shop in the Philly area. Very happy to represent their company. Almost time to go to work.

After one of the craziest training cycles, wasnt really sure what to expect this meet. If you follow my log, I only had 3 weeks training in a borrowed shirt due to some issues. Made a 19lb cut which was my biggest yet. Woke up the morning if the meet and my legs felt weak. But after I got in and started to warm up, it all came back quick. Squats went off perfect and went 3/3 with 805,845,875. Definitely had 900 but didnt want to chance missing and having to make up those lbs later. Bench had me nervous all day, but opener of 585 was a smokeshow. Took 605 on second and was just as easy, but got reds for butt lift. Third took it again but got out of groove and my left elbow couldnt lock out. Pulls opened and easy 600 620 for second to secure the #1 spot, but missed 650 due to a small hitch. Really great weekend for the whole Jersey Iron Crew.

Its been a quiet week training this week after the meet. Actually got fairly sick and my BW has been sitting around 208-210. Went in Monday and did some real light upper movements. Today went in and squatted up to 325x5 for 2 sets. Still feeling weak from being sick, so just hung out and helped the team.
Had a few callouts already since taking the #1 spot lol. Im thinking about doing the WestSide Pro Invitational August 16th which is only 12 weeks away. If So, ill figure out a 10 week cycle and get right back to it. 2150 will be the mark.

Stayed raw today. Was going to work up heavy, but my right groin was giving me problems and I was wobbly from it in the hole. Most likely from the lack of raw work due to the geared cycle. Shit just got a little weak. So I dropped the weight and repped out. Conv pull feels real good and continuing with the beltless work. Ill take a little pr this early.

Just some easy board work to feel out my shirt. First time I had it on since being altered. Felt ok. Just hoping itll give me the pop I need when the weight gets heavy. We'll see in the next few weeks.
