Sitting here on my day off of training Im really feeling that I am more focused and passionate now than I have ever been about training. Im browzing through comp results and thinking to myself that I can definately get to a point that is pretty respectable. Im happy how my training is going, but its no where near what it can be. My problem with training with a crew is that I cant commit to a schedule every week due to my job. I work 2 weeks 7a-3p then 2 weeks 3p-11p, with my days off constantly rotating. Its tough to keep a schedule, but now im at a position that I can try and get more time in with a crew(ie, hookie from work). I set my sights on Jan 29th as my next meet, the IPA New Jersey State Ch. Im trying to get new gear together now and get some good training in. Im really hoping to start training with Tones crew again, especially squatting. It is invaluable training and I really respect the guys in the crew. Ive got goals set, and im not stopping till I see them. Just some thoughts I wanted to jot down, maybe for motivation or whatever, IDK...
That's a pretty solid deload day for deadlifts. It's good to hear that you are looking to compete. I want to get my first meet under my belt, but just like you my schedule is ****ed.
Sumo SLDL... thanks for the idea. I knew about them before but never gave them a shot but I will now since I'm always up for switching up the accessory work. Great motivational speech, brah! That's exactly how I feel now. I love how my mentality is when it comes to training, it's like nothing else. I really look forward to you competing and seeing what kind of numbers you can crush.

Man it always blows my mind how ****in strong you are. Some insane weight for a deload. Looks like you finished feeling great too! I hate deload weeks...about to do mine. I think that's awesome you're gonna possibly compete. You gonna try and cut weight or what division you gonna compete in?
