The cool thing about deads that I noticed seems to be a common trend is that once you hit 3 plates, it's a quick progression up to 4...but then things tend to slow down from there. I see a 4 plate dead in the not so distant future! Keep it up!

well no benching today because im sick again. I havent eaten since monday night im down to 149lbs in the morning from 155 only four days ago. Im probably pretty dehydrated.

Thanks man. I just got back from the docs and it turns out i have swine. Supposedly im screwed for 8-10 days because thats how long it normally lasts and there isnt anything to cure it.

Had some cousins and an uncle over today and we ended up having a bench off
here is what i did
210x0-pissed about that but ive been sick all week in my defense
i was just as strong as my 230lb cousin and my 250 uncle. Im ok with that for now
well im sore as hell right now. My uncle showed me a new exercise called the champaigne lift. Its a cross between DB bench and an extension. Really hit my triceps nicely. I felt really loose at the bottom of my 210 attempt. I think its because of week lats and just weakness overall.
I know i said i was going to go 5/3/1 but my uncle it turns out will be living with us for a while and westside is his routine of choice. I have a workout partner now so i said i will go back to westside so we can lift together. I feel like i know how to make westside work better for me now also. I need more tricep work outside of benching and DB benching. Im going to start doing more extensions, pull downs and dips to absolutely blast my triceps.
