Benched tonight. About 5-6 weeks ago, maybe not enven that long ago, I hit a PR 1rm of 185. Tonight I got 14 of 15 reps at that weight. on SS so 3x5... I went 5/5/4 and a half. I wanted it so bad.
I know I lost tightness in my back on the 4th rep.
I know on friday I will have it for sure, I just wanted it tonight. :ninja:

I know how you feel. Last week I did 2x5 with 132.5 lbs for bench, and this time my second set only got to 4 1/2 reps. And then the next set after that was 4 1/2 reps too even though it was less weight! GOD it sucks to have that happen.
Snikes, My training partner is right where you are. I think he missed his last rep at 135 last nigh. Funny thing is his one rep max last he tried was only 145. I don't think I will let him retest until he can do 145 for his 3x5. He really lets the numbers psyke him out. He does so much better when you just put weight on the bar and tell him to lift it. Every time I have done it He has hit a PR :)
I'm the opposite. I want to know how much weight is there so I know how angry to get at it.
