The filed gripper helped me big time from one fucking session........file some grippers and watch your grippers move up.
The 2.5 felt fine on my left hand and only couple days ago I really had to strain my ass off.
If you file 5mm off it will move that gripper up about 0.5 ie 1.5 to 2 and 2 up to 2.5.
