bicep curl form
I have learnt when doing bicep curls with either a BB or DB the upperarms should be kept anchored to the side, but when my arms get to chest level I find it impossible not to move my upper arm forward if I want to bring the BB/DB all the way up ~ so can I assume the curl is done only up to chest level?
In a curl, it is only required that you close the elbow joint for full contraction of the bicep muscle. Most people over-exagerate the range of motion and try to bring the weights all the way up. That will cause the upper arm to move.
