rory here is an example of balance. i skipped my m4/5/6 in anticipation of going out
i had a kobe beef burger (outstanding, generous portion) and split a seafood tower with my date. seafood tower had 2 lobster tails, 2 claws, 6 shrimp, 2 full stone crabs and 4 oysters, all chilled. so net effect? prob a couple hundred over. whatever, i never go out and i had a really good time... i usually pass on stuff like this but decided to make it a surprise at the last moment. im off to do cardio

rory do you think separating weights/cardio is THAT beneficial? my free time at night is very limited. so basically id be:
A. cardioing at 5am 7 days per week.. then lifting at 8pm til 9:15 4 days per week.. then coming home and immediately eating and sleeping
B. i could just keep doing what im doing which is weights followed by 40m cardio 4 days per week and fasted cardio 3 days per week
option B is MUCH more convenient and i dunno if the added benefit of separating the two activities will be worthwhile.
Easier to work around > minor nuance of a difference there may be.
so i decided to try vanilla flavored protein. big mistake. now i have 5lbs vomit inducing powder.

I definitely see where you are coming from within regards to the psychological advantages of certain programs, diets, lifting "choices", etc. One of the biggest benefits for me and the IF diet is the aspect of bowel movements (I really hate talking about this via a forum), but I can't afford to have my food process while I'm in front of a classroom.
If I'm able to get my training schedule lined up around 1 pm or later, then I'll play around with IF, but until then I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing.

Yea chocolate normally, although I've dabbled with vanilla in the past. I'm drinking the EAS whey right now. Pretty decent stuff for $25 for 5lb at Sams.

im foolish and stupid. rory -- youll like this. so i have deflated to 178lbs and am lean under all the bloat with an added small layer of fat. what a stupid stupid waste of time the past 10 days have been.
workout is nothing special. i have 4-5 months to get my **** together. my hunger is normal i just need to relearn moderation

what sucks is that i picked really good intial numbers for my 5x5 and now my momentum is all messed up from burning off all my sweet, precious bloat... my friday session will be pretty light to attempt to recover this and jump back into where i left off on bench, which will be the challenge. dead and squat should be fine.. ohp will be determined today.
what would normally be week 3 day 2 5x5...
skip squats due to dedicated leg session monday.. i will pick them back up as per program next monday

thanks man. i do used mixed grip... but my grip was slipping w/ 325 last week.. and i dont want to start missing lifts due to grip... but i have to say that it felt weird. i think my straps are too thick for deads. i might need to get some smaller ones in width and thickness
the volume is always there.. i usually dont post the fluff. 5x5 is a seriously underrated program.. its taxing

ez also.. really though.. dumb. i shouldnt have benched at all so i could be totally fresh for next week. i am going to vegetate all weekend and try to work on this project for work on the couch so hopefully the necessary recovery will happen.
might experiment with low intensity cardio on off days.
some palm beach douche bag runs right into me leaving the water fountain. i call him on it and hes like "no you ran into me" hah. i called him a prima donna which obviously infuriated him. good times. the irony is that i'm very courteous to those who demonstrate courtesy.. but if youre a douche bag i am so vicious. oh well.
